The Straight Path Convention is an annual weekend convention focused on bringing enriching international-standard lectures on the Deen, according to the authentic sources of the Qur’an & Sunnah.

It is with the intention to remind for the need of constancy upon the religion of Islam so we never desire any other religion; to revive a connection to the Qur’ân, so we never desire another Book; to rejuvenate our faith lest we fall into disbelief and to practice the Sunnah so we do not fall into innovation.

The Straight Path Convention is a joint effort between Dakwah Corner Bookstore and Yayasan Ta’lim of Malaysia from the year 2012.

Dakwah Corner Bookstore

Dakwah Corner Bookstore Malaysia was incorporated in 2008 as an extended representative of the well-known Dawah Corner bookstore based in The Holy city of Makkah Al Mukarramah.

Dakwah Corner Bookstore Malaysia is committed to be one of the most trusted sources of Islamic books, multimedia, and publications for Muslims and non-Muslims alike in the country. This is done by maintaining an extensive inventory of high quality products, based on authentic Islamic works, at a very reasonable price and various world languages.Dakwah Corner Bookstore Malaysia is also among the top ranking publishing house that contributing to reading industry with many valuable extremely sought publications.

We aim and strive to serve the humanity at large by opening chains of stores around the world, participating in major book fairs, as well as maintaining a strong presence in e-commerce and social media platforms.

Since 2012, we began organizing a number of highly successful annual Islamic programs for the purpose of educating the Ummah and propagating the message of Islam to the mass.

Dakwah Corner Bookstore Malaysia takes part in dakwah activities by providing free essential materials for Muslims, new Muslims, and non-Muslims. We are also supporting educational institutions, mosques, and school libraries with free books and materials.

Yayasan Ta'lim

Yayasan Ta’lim originated in 1991 as an informal seasonal ta’lim gathering amongst friends and later was incorporated in 2009. It has grown into a successful institution focused on the ‘Islah’ approach in sharing and implementing the Deen, as well as the classical approach to da’wah.

Yayasan Ta’lim aims to provide a structured Islamic education to increase knowledge and encourage the practice of authentic teachings of Islam. They offer programs on the Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, Arabic Language, and more. They also collaborate with the Islamic Online University to conduct structured courses. Their main annual event, the Straight Path Convention (in collaboration with Dakwah Corner Bookstore), features renowned international speakers.

Yayasan Ta’lim also aims to become a learning hub, to enrich our fellow Muslims with a wholesome and holistic learning system, benefiting from:

  • Qualified, knowledgeable and specialised teaching staff ·
  • Teachings based on evidences from the Qur’an and Sunnah and authentic references
  • A wide range of subjects, up to fifty different subjects per week. ·
  • Structured learning programs that cover all aspects of the Deen.
  • A wide range of selected authentic Islamic books, available at our premise.
  • A welcoming and conducive learning environment for adults of all ages and backgrounds.

Most classes are conducted without fees and we provide the benefits of e-Learning so learning can be doneVIRTUALLY anytime, anywhere.

Insha’Allah, through these sincere efforts and opportunities to learn, Muslims everywhere can uphold the correct teachings of Islam and follow the manhaj of “ahlisunnah wal jama’ah”
